Landscaping day 4 - A large pile of topsoil was deposited on the street in front of our house early this morning. A four-man crew arrived at 10am and offloaded a large number of plants and trees that were temporarily staged in our front yard. The crew resumed work on the stone pathways and began work on the first of four retaining walls.

A steady rain from 11am to 1pm temporarily stopped work, but the crew made great progress and plans to complete the stonework and get most of the plants installed tomorrow. A two-man crew arrived mid-afternoon and installed a water feature near the sunroom steps. The crew moved all plants to the back yard at the end of the day to avoid tempting the neighborhood deer.
