Day 2 - We had a heavy rainstorm last night and more is forecast for today. This does not look like a good day for construction, and we have not seen any of the crew or an inspector, but the footer holes appear to have survived the rainstorm.
According to the county permit site, the footers will be inspected on Monday, August 1.
Day 1 - The crew was available a day early, so they removed the old deck and dug all the footers today for the new deck and sunroom. If the inspection is completed tomorrow morning, they should be able to pour concrete tomorrow afternoon.
The crew arrived at 7am and quickly had sections of the deck knocked down. The deck was completely removed and footers were dug by 3pm to wrap up today's work.
