Day 36 - A two-man crew arrived mid-day to install the ceiling beam surround, baseboard along the drywall that I painted this weekend, and insert a few more screws in the bench facia boards.  The electrician is now scheduled on Thursday to wrap up his installation work. 

Additional work is pending material availability: permanent glass windows for the west wall, replacement of one defective window panel, and installation of the screens for the sliding glass doors. We are coordinating directly with the roofer to have some additional shingles installed on the family room roof to present an even appearance with the sunroom shingles.

Landscaping Day 1 - This project is a complete overhaul of our backyard and is scheduled for Monday - Saturday. A follow-on project will add a drip irrigation system for all of the plants that will be installed. The weather forecast is very favorable this week, so there's a good chance they will complete on time.

We had an early morning delivery of crushed stone for the paving stones, and a 4-man crew worked from 10am to 5pm stripping all of the grass in the backyard, installing a french drain to connect to three downspouts, and hauling tons of thick paving stones. They also installed two 4" PVC pipes under the walkway for my antenna cables. They started installing the paving stones and will continue for several days before they complete all of the stonework for the pathways. The plan also includes some boulders and small retaining walls. Top soil, trees, plants and mulch will follow the stonework.
