Day 27 - A truck arrived at 7:30am to deliver Trex facia boards for the deck, R30 insulation and drywall.

A two-man crew arrived around 8am to install insulation and drywall in the family room ceiling to cover the skylight holes. Spackling, sanding and painting will be done on another day.

The county inspector was here mid-morning to inspect the rough-in electrical installation, which he approved. He provided some helpful information about temporarily sealing the west wall (the one waiting for windows) with Tyvek sheets to weather-proof the sunroom sufficiently to allow the sub-floor insulation to be installed.

Another truck arrived at noon to deliver the porcelain floor tiles we ordered last week. The driver did not have a motorized cart, so he left the 1100 pound pallet at the base of our driveway. Our neighbor across the street kindly (foolishly?) offered to help me load the 54 pound tile boxes on our hand truck to bring them into the garage.

Yet another truck arrived this afternoon to deliver the 8" facia boards for our deck benches.

During the afternoon, the crew installed 12" facia boards on the deck perimeter, finished building the deck steps and started installing facia boards on the benches.
